BioI completed my JD in May of 2008. I live with my roommate Carrie and our two cats (Jezebel and Phrixus). Before living here in New York I spent most of my life in North Carolina, specifically the triangle (Raleigh/Cary/Durham/Chapel Hill/Carrboro). I moved to New York to attend law school in August of 2004.
I use this journal primarily as a way to connect with people, write posts about mundane things, post photos and tell stories of wacky traveling adventures. Theres not a lot of long-winded philosophical or political rambling around here. Although occasionally the mood strikes. I sometimes talk about sex, but not as much as you'd expect. In fact my personal life doesn't get a lot of attention here. Theres certainly a lot more going on than I write about, but that seems to be the case with most folks, perhaps more so for me recently.
I decided in 2005 that it was time to make my journal exclusively "Friends Only" for obvious career reasons, but also some personal ones too. That has been a good choice. I've been writing here since January of 2003 and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
My username is not really an exciting story, but rather based on a poet I had some interest in during college,Mary Wroth. Were I to choose a user name now...probably wouldn't be that one, although I dunno what I would pick. I'm known out in the real world as Catherine.
